WOOL FOR SALE!!!!!

Picture

FOR SALE

We have recently also started selling their wool.  Any sheep that has won an award is $20 a bag and if they have not won anything it is $10 a bag.  A bag means that we shear the sheep and put it in a plastic bag.  We do not clean the fleeces or do anything with them, they just go straight into the bag.  The pictures below are some of the awards we have won along with our top breeding stock.

New To Us!

We have started the recessive trait breeding program.  This year we had experts come and look at our ewes and pull out all of our recessives and we bred them to our recessive ram we got from Nicoles Farm.  We are very excited about this new project and hope to see us succeed with it and do great.  We are very excited and want to thank everyone for all of your help!

Hank the Tank and Scooby

Picture
Hank is our new breeding ram.  The neat thing about him is he was born from our herd.  From the begging of our show season as a lamb he won everything a ram could...anything from best fleece to champion ram.  We also have a 6 year old ram, and at age two Hank was twice his size.  He is fully sheared and not the prettiest in this picture, but we are working on getting other ones.

Scooby is one of our own as well.  We bred with him this year and we hope he does great. He won champion ram and the Benton County Fair.  He is long and powerful.  His fleece is not as tight, but wonderful for dying it.

Beasta

She in nine years old and weighs over 300lbs.  She is huge.  She has won many titles and holds  a spot in my heart as she was my very last ewe my Grandpa gave me and I showed her all through 4-H.  She has won many times and continues to still win in the 4-H world and she si my showmanship ewe for the state fair.

She is my show ewe.  She is two now, and had her first lamb this spring.  She had a single ewe lamb that weighed in at 16 lbs.  She was a great mom.  Her fleece has won championships as well. Her daughter is the spring ewe lamb I won all the awards with at the Oregon State Fair youth show.

The big girls

The white ewe in the middle is Harmony.  She is the mother of Hank and Shaggy. The other two ewes are great producing ewes.
